Official Rules and Regulations

Duel Slalom:
Each competitor may take as many trial runs as time will allow before the start of the timed competition.

Each competitor must take two (2) timed attempts, one on either course of the slalom, the two times will be added together thus being the official time for the duel slalom category.

There must be no less than 8 gates each with 10m between competitors fall line. 10 gates are standard.

A one (1) second penalty will be added for each missed or dislodged gate. Interfering with another competitor is an automatic disqualification for that race only.

Touching the gate with any part of the body is not a penalty, only when a gate is moved from its post.

Each competitor is allowed (3) three jumps, with the best (2) two counting for points. Jumps are scored out of (50), thus giving you a total out of (100) for each competitor. The (50) fifty points are split up as:

Difficulty  10
Landing  20
Amplitude  10
Distance  10

Riders are allowed as many practice runs before the event starts.

The rider with the closest score to (100) for two jumps is the "Big Air" winner.

Freestyle:
Each competitor is allowed (3) three attempts (if time allows) with the highest score being counted for the championship and the top two scores for a tie breaker. Freestyle run shall be 300' / 100m or greater.

A 6' / 2m jump, 12' / 4m jump and a 15' / 5m rail slide are recommended but not mandatory. All features of the course may be used with points given for overall run. Virtuosity and execution are predominant with transition adding to the possible points.
